Hey Andreas,
No the Active Monitor Library uses the same polling engine. So are you saying that after you restarted the polling engine, the monitor is now working when assigned to the device?

Andy,
What happens if you test the monitor from the Active Monitor library after you delete the folder?

Hey Dan,
Simply Oking out of the dialogs should be sufficient. What leads you to believe that your changes aren't being saved? Are you using the web interface or the console application?

Hey Mark,
I don't think you will be able to accomplish this natively within WhatsUp Gold. You could apply your actions to the individual monitors, but if the whole device goes down, then you would get all of those notifications.
I will forward your use cases to our Product Management group for review.
Thanks
Jason

Hey folks,
If you are experiencing this issue all you need to do is clear your sticky properties in the database using the following SQL statement:
DELETE FROM Whatsup.dbo.WebStickyProperty WHERE sValue LIKE '%/WrSourceService/WrSourceService.asp%'
Running this against your database should clear up the issue for you. Please do not delete the table or rename any of the columns, as this will only cause more problems.
Thanks
Jason

Hey Edward,
As previously suggested, have you done a search for that file?

Hey Dave,
If you go into the email action that is being sent when you receive the Event Log message, you can add the %PassiveMonitor.Payload.* variable to the content section. This should give you the entire contents of the event log message in the email message that is sent out.
Let me know how that works out for you.
Jason

Hey Richard,
Has this issue been resolved? If not can you send me your serial number.
Thanks
Jason

Ralf,
Which setting was it that you had to change?

Ralf,
Thanks for the update and glad to here that it is now working. I will pass this information on to our development group.
Thanks
Jason
