When adding user credentials it'd be great if windows AD groups could be added in and not just single users
spend less time managing users and users' permissions and keep a clean list of users as people leave or move to new groups and so need access to different group alerts

This would be wonderful. Make it so much easier to add a user to a group in ADS than having to add each individual user
Absolute must!!!! Why try to reinvent the wheel, let LDAP do its thing, simply allow WUG to take full advantage of what is already built for a specific need. Integrate it, make if functional, don't try to duplicate or control it.
Good idea
1. And also hange the irritating user admin page so that you can define
user groups
Novice (maybe read only
Normal witha default set of privs
Super user with a set of privs
Admin with all rights
2. Alternatively provide a copy function so that you can copy a known dummy user and then rename to a new user id
3. Provide a user ID list function in table format so that you can see who has what privs. It becomes very tedious to manage when you have many users.
4. Maybe also have a general "Read Only" function so that you KNOW that you don't inadvertantly give a user modify rights
